| When I ran an errand today, this beautiful hawk was sitting on a light pole not far from our house. |

| When I turned around to try to take a frontal picture, he had flown down to the ground. Got this back view while he was catching his dinner. |

| This time I was able to get a picture of the front of him. |

| He had some beautiful markings. Where we live used to be farm land. It has built up with stores and houses. There is an area where we have some wetlands. We don't see the hawks very much in the summer. Their presence is still here though. It is fascinating to watch them in flight. |
